Our breeder recommended this product to help get knots out of our dog's easily matted hair (He's a labradoodle). It makes combing out those knots so much easier for me. And it makes it less painful for my dog. Also, it leaves no residue.

I've tried a lot of products to tame my dog's hair (maltese), and stopped at this one. Read about it on forums, and decided to bite the bullet. Boy, was I glad I found some Magic!
Just a little goes a long way. Right before a final rinse, I use a nickel sized amount, rub it on my hands and wipe it down my dog a section at a time.
Smells great, doesn't stay greasy, keeps his hair VERY soft, and it now takes at least 2x longer for tangles and mats to start appearing (if at all). I'm never buying any other "detangler" again.

I use this on my Australian Shepherd every week or so. It keeps his hair clean, shiny, untangled and easy to brush. It actually seems to help keep the coat clean; fox tails and other stuff brush out easily.
Very little additional grooming or bathing required.

I was skeptical about this product but gave it a shot and I was impressed. It worked well, didn't weigh down my thick Afro hair, it also didn't feel sticky or tacky. The detangler removed all tangles and knots and reduced unwanted breakage.

I used to use this to detangle my horse's hair...I've been growing my own hair out and getting very frustrated as I have very long, thick, curly hair that tangles and breaks easily, yet fro's out if I don't brush it only when wet. So I decided to it was either Cowboy Magic or cut off the beautiful locks.
This product worked so well to detangle my hair I even started using it as a moisturizer for my face on a whim! Works great for both. Instead of the normal 20 minutes to brush my hair each morning after the shower it only takes me 4 minutes. I also just purchased both the conditioner and the shampoo to see if they worked as well. My favorite is still the detangler, but the shampoo and conditioner are nice and significantly cheaper than products that don't work as well. My hair has somewhat of a bounce to it now and is much more manageable as I'm very lazy with my hair and only brush it then throw gel in it, let it dry a little then hairspray it. I never blow dry or fiddle with it.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and no adverse reactions which is what I was afraid would happen.
