I pride myself on my natural nails, but in the winter it gets hard to keep them from becoming dry and breaking. I discovered this stuff a couple of months ago and it is now my #1 hand lotion. I use it 2-3 times a day and it keeps my hands soft and my nails strong. Once a week I put some in a plastic bag and warm the lotion, I let my hands soak for about an hour. Great stuff!
I will say this, if your hair doesn't like protein treatments, your nails probably won't either, and this is a protein lotion. It will cause your skin and nails to feel dry if you aren't a protein type. For example, if the Mane and Tail conditioner makes your hair feel dry and tangled, avoid the lotion. It just means you have different needs. :)

I bought a smaller bottle to test it out and I was extremely satisfied. I saw a difference in the strength of my nails in about 1-2 weeks of daily use. I am now a firm believer in Hoofmaker. It will increase your nail flexibility, stop splitting/peeling/chipping nails, and allow you to have the pretty nails you want without using acrylics/gels on your natural nails. And, it works as well any moisturizer I've ever used before keeping my hands from feeling extremely dry. So, I will buy it as long as they continue to make it.

Many years ago I had a horse and used it on his hoofs and I applied every time I groomed him. My nails started getting stonger. I put some in a botttle and brought it home for my ailing mother. She has a heart condition and all the meds made her firger nails very fragile. After abought a month she mentioned that her nails also were stronger.
I had my artifical finger nails removed about a month ago. Artifical nails really damage your real nails a great deal especially after more than ten years of wearing! I have noticed a huge improvement using it once a day. The pump bottle is great - it sits on my night stand so I do not forget.

This is a very good contidioner for dry horse hooves..
The horses hooves where dry and so hard to trim.. With the use of Hoofmaker the hooves have returned to there great condition again..

I've been using this product for years and its hands down the best hand cream EVER. I've introduced many friends, relatives and co-workers to the product and they've never returned to what they've used previously.
I have friends who use it when skiing and partaking in cold weather sports. I have friends who use it after a hot day at the beach. I have fishermen friends who keep a tube in their tackle box.
This 2 pound pump bottle was purchased for my grandson who works at a bank and handles grimy money all day. He ended up with hands that were so cracked and dry they we painful and bleeding. No product seemed to work until grandma sent him a bottle of Hoofmaker. Problem solved!
Use it everywhere, for everything. I can't say enough good things about Hoofmaker. It's not greasy or oily. It's not foo-foo smelly. It's perfect. And NO - I don't know anyone who owns or works at this company.
