Good stuff.Jul 05, 2011

I bought this product to preserve my leather products. It works very well. It cleans without scratching. It also provides a nice gloss on black leather when its done. Saddle soap is a yellow substance which becomes prominent when brushed across the seams (especially on my black Clark's) but you just keep working it in, and then it just goes away. Saddke soap is my favorite product to clean leather-and it's less oily than leather honey (which I still use from time to time to make the leather continuously supple). Leather honey and this product are a must for anyone who owns leather. They'll make your leather go 10X as long. Pretty worth it for the nominal price.
Uses: belts, jackets, my leather chair, shoes.
Oh, and it lasts forever because you don't have to use a lot. I've had this for 3 months and it hardly looks used.

Good Soap for LeatherJan 11, 2011
By Bruce S. Wyen It is pretty good soap for leather cleaning. It will let you feel safe to put it on leather unlike using regular soap or dish washing detergent. It shines the leather a little but it is not really for leather softening or restoration. You really need to use leather oil after cleaning with this product.

great productJan 31, 2011
By F. Howe Use this to clean the salt off my leather boots after walking around nyc in the winter. Very happy and would buy again, but with this quantity I don't think I'll ever have to buy saddle soap again!

Great for shoes!Dec 06, 2011
By J. Newkirk I bought this because I heard it works well for leather cleaning. Well it does. I spilled a spoonful of Italian dressing on the toe of a nice tan leather shoe. It left a nasty oil spot larger than a quarter. Thought the shoes might be ruined. These were not cheap shoes. The leather was very delicate. Anyway, the oil stain sat for a week while I waited for the saddle soap to arrive. In the meantime tried to clean them using other methods. Nothing worked. Finally the saddle soap arrived. I had no idea if it'd work. Sure enough, a little scrubbing and some polish. The stain was completely erased. The container is big. Unless I buy a saddle, I'll probably have a lifetime supply. Good stuff.
