Horse's love them!Apr 06, 2009

The horses at the riding stable I go to love them! As a matter of fact so does the owners dog. Just make sure you ask before you give a treat to someone else's horse. When the guys see me pull them out of my pocket, I'm their new best friend ;)

Since I am a firm believer in horse bribery, I have not been without Mrs Pasture's Cookies for the past 8 years. The cookie goes in with the bit immediately. My horse will stand untied at the mounting block 30 +- minutes without moving. When my right leg swings over him, that head whips around saying "I'm not moving till I get my cookie!". This works for a 75 yr old that rides a Peruvian daily.
