This Product is Not Intended for Sexual PlayMar 25, 2012
By Figgy It seems as though, I am the only person on here who actually used the crop for its intended purpose! Guess what folks, the reason why the crop may not be as "sturdy" as you would like it to be when it makes contact with your sexual partner's hindquarters, would be because it is not meant to be used as a sexual toy! It is not meant to be smacked VERY hard against something. Any member of the equine community who actually uses the crop for its intended purpose would tell you this is a good product especially for the price. It has a nice grip to it and a strap that's helpful because it makes it easier to hold on to when horseback riding. I really only need the crop so my horse knows I have it and will behave accordingly. When I do need to use it I just show it to him and even if he still isn't listening, I will lightly tap it on his shoulder. You're not supposed to smack a horse with a crop therefore its durability is suitable for its purpose. I have used it a few times while riding it seems like it will last me a long time. I hope this review was helpful to those looking to purchase this crop for use on an equine.

Fell apart after 1 (playful) use!Jan 30, 2012
By alyssamae I figured I would give it a shot since it was cheap, but it was an all-around disappointment. The moment I opened it, I wished I hadn't bought it. It was very poorly made, to the point where when I gently tugged on the wrist/hanging strap, it pulled right off. The tail also split after about 5 playful swats from my partner. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) this product can't be returned, so I have the distinct pleasure of still owning it. I keep it next to my $15 Tractor Supply crop so I can laugh at how badly constructed it is in comparison.

Good cropMar 21, 2010
By Guerau B. Cabrera This is a great crop for the price!!! I thought it had a leather handle but it is rubber. Obviously it wasn't leather because of the price. Other than that it's great for the price.

Very poor quality, not the item shownAug 14, 2011
By D. Hermosillo This crop is so poorly made, it fell apart as I was removing it from the USPS shipping bag. The leather is rough and scratchy, and the actual leather loop on the action end, is pitifully small; it is not the item shown in the Amazon image.
